StrawberryNET Cosmetics Saves you $$$!

I don't often cover cosmetics and facial products, but this is an amazing online store that really saves you money on brand name facial products and cosmetics, so I had to share! Most products are already priced cheaper than in-store or in-spa/salon prices, but on top of that you get 1 more % off your order with each products you buy (so if you buy 5 products, another 5% off your total) AND with consecutive orders you get another additional 1, 2, ....up to 10% off your total order with each consecutive order! And FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE! I discovered this store years ago but never ordered until I came back from my spa and compared the spa prices with StrawberryNET prices and found StrawberryNET was much cheaper :))

See this week's very Special Deals at StrawberryNET!

Modest Vintage Styles!

I adore this store I just found online at http://www.modcloth.com/ because vintage is a bit more modest and cutesy-chic verses todays sexy styles. Check out the massive selection of dresses (we could wear as tops) and coats! I don't know how they manage to have such a huge product line! TONS of long-sleeves but I'ld layer these short sleeves in a second to wear these cuties. Prices start at around $50 for these dresses and coats at $100+  I believe shipping is free over $100 in the U.S. and they do ship internationally (use code inter100 to get 10% off international orders!). Enough talk, check out modcloth styles!

Yes! Yes! Yes! It's not often I get really excited about a new hijab store, but I've already got about 10 items on my Pearl-Daisy wish-list! Here's some pics of my favorite hijabs and accessories!

Two Tones and cute tassles to frame the face!
Yup, there's tunics at under $20 US/CDN. This is a cutie!
Yaye, TONS of floral hijabs! How'd they know I love florals?!
Love these caps, and I've finally found a way to wear'em that I like..coming soon..
There' a touch of "Vintage" in this lacey hijab that is SO charming.
More cute tunics, long and light for layering.
The "Nextention"! It's so hard to find these nowadays in store..around here I believe we use to call these "dickies" (don't ask me why, that's just awful!). These are SO neccessary for layering!

Check out Pearl-Daisy gals, and keep your eye on this store cuz I got a feeling there's a lot more to come! And the prices are amazing! Many hijabs under $10 US/CDN!!

.....And I have another great store to share with you tomorrow!

Hijab Styl'n: Front Knot

Do you ever struggle with what to do with a super long hijab?! I have some that I love that drive me crazy cuz they're so darn long (and I'm too darn lazy to shorten them, plus I'ld lose the fringe). I mean you can wrap it a THIRD time but that would make ya HOT if it was a pashmina! The other day I did a standard (safety pinned under chin),  wrap but after the second wrap I took the long end and twisted it, then tied it in a knot with the short end in the front. I had alread straight pinned the long end to the side of the head..the twist made the length shorter, made it easy to tie and I like the way the knot looked..comfy too!

Another technique for a long side is to braid'em if you're doing a 2-layer look and to do a back-pinned loop through..I'll post those soon!

P.S. Got my iphone 4 so photo taking is much easier now..and it's the BEST (the flipping camera, the GPS, the two-way face calling, it's all so amazing - highly recommend!)

$20 off at Artizara

For the next week receive $20 off a $100+ order (use code GREETING20) at http://www.artizara.com/ plus free priority US shipping! There are tons of lovely new tops!  Get yourself something special for Eid, you deserve it! (Though my order got messed up last time, I'm sure it was just a mix up.)

Have I mentioned they have matching hijabs with their tops? That was rhetorical, I know I've mentioned it a hundred times, cuz it's soooooo brilliant!

Obsessed with Hijab Accessories

My new obsession is officially hijab accessorizing. It's easy to do, they're inexpensive, and the best part is that instead of buying new hijabs you can just change up the look of your old ones! So here are some photos to get your imagination going, but I will be posting some of my actual photos with hijab soon (have to borrow the hubbies iphone as I've brilliantly lost my camera and my phone's camera sucks). These are just hair accessories that you can find at almost every retail shop but MY favorite places are Forever21, H&M, and Ardene. (for a Muslim store with hijab flowers see UniqueHijabs) If you want to go bold, try a band with a big flower or feather, if you want to be more subtle try an elastic band embellished with rhinestones or metallic thread for just a tiny punch of shimmer on a plain hijab. I LOVE small organza rossettes (flowers) pinned on the side of the hijab or onto the chest/shoulder to pin up the long end of a hijab. It's so fun shopping for hijab accessories that you'll feel like a teenager again! (Or maybe you are a teenager!)

Hijab Styl'n: Tikka Hijab Accessory

A Tikka/Teeka is a type of jewellery originating in India that is traditionally worn on the hair, hanging onto the forehead. It has a chain with a jewel at the end. It can also be hooked easily onto a pin on the underscarf you wear under your hijab! I've seen a few Muslim fashionistas do this, and though it's a bit too much for me, some more bold Muslimahs might like this idea for Eid! Here it is with hijab:

A Muslim shop I know of that sells these is Pearl-Daisy. For millions of other options just google it and tons of Indian shops will pop up!

TIP: These tikkas make cute hijab pins if you attach them to a safety pin or just pin them on the side of your hijab to accessorize it! (A bit less bold than hanging down on your forehead!)ALSO, some dangly earrings can pose as Tikkas too!

My Top 4 Aab Products!

What makes aab unique? Here's my TOP 4 picks from http://www.aabuk.com/  for thier originality and functionality!

1 The most beautiful pregnancy abaya I have yet to see on the web! This classic black, wrap style abaya with  waves of flowing fabric that gently drape over your precious baby bump will have even those in their NINTH month looking elegant! Not an easy accomplishment! (Also check out their abayas with zip down fronts for nursing.)

2  Hajj and Umrah Abayas! Not many Islamic fashion stores think to include hajj and umrah products in their line-up. Some with secure pockets for keeping your stuff safe!

3 Their fabric purses offer casual sophistication - so simple yet so darn cute! And for a fractin of the cost of a purse from Coach or Guess!

4Corsages! What a fantastic little idea to turn a plain jilbab, abaya, tunic or wrap into something stylish!
I LOOOVE these, want one in every color!
