This one goes out to all you Mamas out there or Mothers to be. I found two really nice styles for pregnancy and they are also tailored for you nursing Mothers.



The abaya you see in the two pic's is one I found at aab .
They are based in the UK and have a luxury design that is stylishly simple. Their abaya's are for the Modern muslima ranging from Mother, Career, Student ect...... I love how they call this design (Peppermint Tea) like it is so calming to wear as if you are drinking a cup of P.T. tea.


The next design is from Amirah Fashions, and I don't have their pic. But just follow the link and you can see it up close and personal. Amirah Fashions is based in the UK as well and focus on couture designer looks. Their Breastfeeding Jilbab is very modern with a counseled zipper for nursing and comes in four colors.

I would say even if your not a abaya or jilabab wearing muslimah...I think these designs are so Up to date that you might re-consider. Not only that they look so comfy and cozy.

Today Shukr has added items to their Big Blow Out Sale.

Here are two items i chose from the sale. This Belted Pleated skirt looks very stylise and they have a bunch of other colors to chose from in all the sizes. Also this Tamyiz Blouse has a variety of colors to chose from in all the sizes as well. I like the sleeves of this shirt.

I have summer on my mind lately and what style's I should try that are in style and modest. So I found this sit called Alloy that has a deal Buy 3 or more and you get each shirt ranging from $9.90 to 12.90. If you sign up for their e-mail list you will get $10.00 of your order of $75 or more which basically pays for your shipping.


So for the first look you see I chose this Aqua Boatneck Doleman. The model has it off the shoulder but you can wear it with out that look covering up with a wide hijab or short sleeve turtleneck with the sleeve to the side. This shirt ranges in all colors.


Next is this Cascade Cardigan I love this look that I see now a days on cardigans with extra front material. This makes for a nice bust cover up. Solution for those half sleeves just through

some underarm sleeves under neath and solution solved cover up with out the layers. Tip:) get different color arm sleeves to contrast your look.



Then I chose this Short Sleeve Turtleneck. I think this is convenient for those low wide neck shirts or dresses. If you need that extra arm coverage just use those arm covers.


So last but not least Asymmetrical Tanks are everywhere. I really think you can use this tank with a light weight cardigan or just through it on with a long sleeve shirt to get a great styles modest look you can always buy this shirt in the next size up to make it more loose fitting a flowing.

If you like wearing hoods with your hijab well this is a neat way of do it. Except this is a more all in one deal. It is called the hoojab!

I was searching the web one day and came across this sister making hijab tutorials on youtube. She has all these lovely idea's of how to wrap and add too her hijab styles. This is when I found out about the hoojab that she began making for herself when she first started wearing hijab. Just by sewing two long pieces of material together creating a hood like hijab...called the hoojab.

Her hoojab fashion statement became a great opportunity for her. Having fan's from all over the world through her tutorials she began to get requests from her fan asking to make and sell the hoojab. Amena became an entrepreneur and started to sell her hoojab...they sold so quickly that she soon after got more request. Amean is now selling her hoojabs along with a variety of other hijabi item's online at Pearl-Daisy .

This is one of my favorite videos of hers because I like how she uses two different scarves. She also wraps it in a modest lose fitting way around her neck. Which could be good for summer.

Have you ever heard of "Etsy"? Well it is similar to eBay, their are some differences' between the two. Basically the difference is Etsy is not an auction site...so you don't bid for the item. Also everything is handmade, vintage or supplies.

Okay so your thinking "I know of five year old children making macaroni necklaces and bring them home form school" that kind of stuff! Actually "Etsy's" handmade items are quality items that come in all types of unique diversity.

Just like these two hijabs by CoveredLadiesDesign the first design you see is a beautiful all-in-one Amira Hood that has a double layer. If you look closely you will see no front-seam, which truly dose make this Amira uniquely one of a kind. This second design is a two piece which looks really light and summery. I really like the length of the jilbab and the fact that you can see the trousers...gives a very sophisticated look. Stop and think of it:) it is hard to find a truly unique jilbab that looks modern. With a silk hijab tucked in just like she has on in the picture and you are sure to work your way to the top.
