Visor Hijab

No no no no no. See, this is exactly why visor's have gone out of style, and why they've invented something called SUNGLASSES. It wasn't cool without a hijab, and it sure isn't any cooler with a hijab attached!

I've seen it done well ONCE. But I wear a visor in the summer because I've already had skin cancer once and I'd like to avoid having it again any time soon... I know I look dorky but it's better than maybe dying. LOL

Yes in the dorky vs. dying debate, dorky definitely wins! :) I have seen some sun-conscious Muslim women wear a a sun-hat over hijab and it actually looks kind-of classy - will post a photo I found of this online soon.

This one is a bit extreme but I like the shorter visor underscarves (it has an abbreviated brim... more like a newsboy cap than a baseball cap). I wish I could find some! heathershijabs.com used to have them but that site does not seem to be taking orders now.

in west texas you must cover with sunscreen 100 type numerous times daily.if i could get away with it i would burka.it is 110 degrees f with blowing sand!
