Fall Boot Guide!

Fall is my favorite time of year! Kicking through the fallen leaves makes me feel like a kid again...and it's even more fun if I'm wearing some new, fashionable, FALL BOOTS!

Here's a summary of the trendiest boots this season to help you find your perfect new pair!

But first, some tips...

TIP #1: If you wear a lot of skirts, abayas, or jilbabs I recommend knee-length boots to keep your legs warm in colder weather. It really helps!

TIP #2: Try to find a pair with some detail around the foot, since our modest clothes hide the details on the leg of the boots.

Knee-length Boots

Find a pair that zip comfortably over your calves. Below are two styles: On the top, a flat-heeled riding boot by Ralph Lauren. On the bottom, a classy heeled-boot by Kenneth Cole with georgeous detailing around the foot. Pick your style!

Mid-calf Length Boots

This is the trendiest length right now and it's my favorite length for overall comfort. Here we have the scrunch style by Roxy on the top, which also features a wedge heel and cuff. Next, a fringed style (by Chinese Laundry) which has a western flair. Both styles look super in suede.

Ankle Boot or "Booties"

This 80's come-back is still hanging on but it's not my favorite length because it just doesn't offer the support that I'm used to in a boot. Below are the contributions to this trend by Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton. They are "like so totally hot!" LOL.

One more tip...
TIP #3: For a leather, name brand boot you should be prepared to pay upwards of $100. More affordable non-leather boots can be found under $50 at stores like JCPenny, Payless, Sears, Target etc. There are some great sales on now!

I'm LOVING Losve.com

Wow, September has gone by so fast! Finally had a chance to cruise the web and you're gonna love what I found!

What the name means, I don't know, but man have they ever created a modest version of runway fashion at Losve.com!

This store is truly an original - finally a way for us modest, Muslim girls to get into the latest fashion trends without having to do tons of layering!

I was a bit disappointed that they are located in the UK so the prices and shipping may be a turn-off to some, but I'm sure gonna give them a try some day soon, inshallah!

Salam and keep styl'n...
