Cute Clothes for Muslim Girls

You want your little girls to understand the concept of dressing modestly and at the same time you want them to be able to romp around and be silly without being limited by their clothes (do Laura Ingalls or Anne of Green Gables ring a bell?).

My favorite store for Muslim girl clothing right now is La Senza Girl...if you haven't checked them out in awhile you should, if you have little girls between the ages of about 6 and 12 that is...There are tons of clothes for them that are modest and cute as can be at this store!

Luckily, designers are making tops longer now - we have the 80's trend to thank for that - and leggings or capri pants matched will long tops or knee length dresses (like the photo here) make great outfits for our little Muslimahs. I find that these are really practical outfits especially for playing at the park and riding bikes, unlike skirts and dresses that can get in the way or flip up. But they're still really modest!

I love La Senza Girl's stuff because the patterns are sooooo cute. Tons of hearts and flowers, buttons and bows and sparkles and so on, that are so much fun! Watch out though because you might end up spending too much if you can't hold back! Make sure you check the back of the store for clearance clothes and also make sure you purchase their club card which gets you 10% off purchases for a year (also works at La Senza for mom) and includes lots of coupons.

They have fall clothes coming out now that are adorable. I saw some really wide black pants with long colorful matching tops, and cropped long sleeve shirts & sweaters. I thought these outfits looked quite modest, comfortable, and adorable! I've stocked up for summer, but I will be back in the fall!
